Responsibilities: • Handle all large property losses, both commercial and homeowner. • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle all assigned bodily injury, property damage, and homeowner's claims by telephone, personal contact or correspondence. • Responsible for handling cases of high complexity and/or exposure. • Evaluate and settle claims within designated authority and may direct the investigation and claims settlement activities of Field Adjusters.

Knowledge, skills and abilities: • Three years multiline adjuster experience, emphasis in 1st Party property claims (commercial and homeowners) with outside field adjusting experience or casualty claims adjusting experience. • College degree required and claims experience. • Working knowledge of insurance contracts, Fair Claims Settlement Practices, insurance codes and contracts, civil codes and vehicle codes. • Strong verbal and written communications skills required to investigate and analyze information. • Able to function under a heavy volume of work and to make independent decisions
